VisualDivX doesn´t start. What´s wrong?

VisualDivX is a JAVA program. Make you sure you have JAVA installed. You can download it here...

Is VisualDivX multilanguage? How many languages are supported?

Yes, VisualDivX is multilanguage. You can have it in 7 languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Catalan, Galician and Portuguese. More are being added. If you want to add your language, please contact me.

Is there a Linux version of VisualDivX?

No, at the moment, there isn´t a Linux version. But in the future i want to port VisualDivX to this OS. This is the reason why i developed VisualDivX in JAVA.

Can VisualDivX import data from Ant Movie Catalog?

Yes, of course. AMC is the king of the movie managers. This was a priority for me. The only problem is that you must import the info in an specific way. See VisualDivX´s help.

How can i set my own data in VisualDivX?

VisualDivX has a Tab named "User data" where you can configure your own data. If you press "edit fields name" button, you can edit these fields and put want you want.

Why isn´t there a Save Button?

VisualDivX saves automatically all data when entered. No need for a Save Button.

Can VisualDivX import technical data from CD/DVD or HardDisk?

Yes, if you select a movie and press F7, you can select the file and the program will obtain all technical data, like CODEC, resolution, format,file size,etc...

How can i set data in a field for several movies at the same time? Is it possible do this?

Yes. It´s possible. You must only select all the movies and enter any value you want. This value will be set for all selected movies.

I have a resolution of 800x600 and VisualDivX doesn´t work.

That´s true. VisualDivX only works for 1024x768 and above. This is the price to pay to VisualDivX be so user-friendly and good-looking.

What does [DUAL] in scripts mean?

[DUAL] means that that script can download info from a web and the cover from another, totally different.

Are all the scripts in Spanish? How can i download info in English or German, for example?

No. There are scripts in all supported languages. When you select an script , you´ll see a flag showing the language the info is.

What is a portable? What are they for?

A portable is a file that consists in one or some movies. The main purpose for this is the fact that you can create a portable of some movies and share with other users. The info you can get with an script maybe insufficient, and perhaps you added 3 covers from web XXX, the plot of web YYY, and cast,year,user data from web ZZZ. You can pack all the info (aka create a portable), upload this file and share it with other users. These other users need only download this file and automatically the program insert the data that you´ve created before. This is interesting in series and documentaries, because info is hard to get (chapters, plot, seasons), and maybe another user has created before. You don´t need to add manually all the data, simply download the file and that´s all.
